- Solutions come from concepts. What is the idea?
- Make work where the concept is felt, if not instantly understood
- Let it be alive. This means don’t refine the hell out of it.
- Respect your own skills.
- Have the courage to freak people out and endure the response.
- Allow ideas to emerge through play.
- Remember your hands and use them.
- Look somewhere different for inspiration.
- Value people. Make the process feel as valuable as the outcome.
- Don’t say what’s wrong, say what could be better.
- Forget recognition, just focus on the work.
